New warehouse and new framing centre.

Lucy Pittaway, the UK’s most-published artist since 2018, expanded her business when in 2022, her company completed a major expansion at its North Yorkshire head office, featuring a new 3,300-square-foot warehouse, additional production space, and electric vehicle charging points. This development enhanced her logistics, production, and sustainability efforts.

A key milestone in her growth strategy was the merger with Wensleydale Galleries, a framing business in North Yorkshire renowned for its expertise and craftsmanship in framing, restoration, and conservation. Andy Richardson, formerly of Wensleydale Galleries, described this merger as a “natural step,” highlighting the seamless integration of their skills with Lucy Pittaway.

With this partnership, Lucy Pittaway’s Brompton-on-Swale Gallery offers specialist framing services, catering to fine art, photographs, and memorabilia.

Investments in technology, such as the Hi-Resolution Contact-Free Scanning system and increased printing capacity, have further bolstered the business’s capabilities. These advancements position Lucy Pittaway Ltd for growth, promising more innovative services for its expanding customer base in years to come.
